Executive/Senior Executive - Quantity Surveyor
Job Summary
Signature Cabinet Sdn Bhd, a leading provider of high-quality cabinetry solutions, is seeking a talented and driven Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team in Kota Damansara, Selangor. As a full-time position, this role will play a crucial part in driving the company's success by supporting Project Sales in quantity surveying tasks, preparing project quotations, managing pre-contract documentation, evaluating costs, coordinating with suppliers, assisting in tender submissions, and ensuring smooth project execution.
Job Responsibilities
As Quantity Surveyor, your main responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- To assist Project Sales in all areas of quantity surveying works.
- Assist Project Sales in preparing project quotation for tender and submission.
- Documentation and processing of Pre-contract works including cost analysis from various suppliers and vendors, summary scope of tender, sourcing of new suppliers and sub-contractors.
- Evaluation of price comparison, costing summary, and work out competitive tender prices.
- Prepare Material Specification List and appliances proposal according to project requirement.
- Prepare sample board and presentation slides for tender / meeting presentation.
- Prepare and assist in submitting all tender related documents and calculation such as drawing proposal, project discount structure, bills of quantities (BQ) rationalization, project variation orders (VO) calculation etc.
- Prepare & Coordinate show unit / mock-up / single sales order.
- Site visits and attend site meetings when necessary.
- Coordinate and liaise with suppliers for pricing, samples etc.
- Coordinate with related departments on keeping sample stock.
- Update work progress for each project during the daily check-in meetings.
- Complete any other assignments as required by the Management from time to time.
Job Requirements
- Possess at least Certificate/Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma/Degree in Quantity Survey or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in the related field in construction.
- Background in interior design, business skills, management, budgeting and analysis.
- Computer literate with proficient in major Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, AutoCAD.
- Able to work independently and efficiency with minimal supervision.
- Has basic knowledge in contractual matters.
- Confident, proactive and able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
