M&E Manager
Job Summary
Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Manager to oversee the planning, design, execution, and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems within the construction projects.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage the planning, design, tendering, installation, and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems across construction projects.
- Lead M&E teams, providing guidance and support to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards. Coordinate effectively with other project teams to achieve project goals.
- Work closely with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate M&E systems harmoniously with overall project requirements.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and technical departments for final inspections and necessary approvals. Ensure all installations meet compliance standards.
- Monitor project budgets, control costs, and optimize resource allocation to ensure efficient project execution.
- Implement and maintain rigorous quality assurance protocols to achieve high standards of workmanship and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Any other duties assigned by the Superior and/or the Management.
Job Requirements
- ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering, or any related field.
- PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATION/OTHER RELEVANT CERTIFICATION

- WORKING EXPERIENCES
- Minimum 10 years' experience as an M&E Supervisor or similar role in large scale projects, specialized in hospital projects is preferable.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage teams and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- KEY/TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with contractors, workers, and clients.
- Problem-solving skills to address and resolve site issues promptly.
