Maintenance Technician

Job Summary

  • Repairing and well maintaining all machine as per pre-set schedule and monitor all machine operators are well trained and able to perform for all rotate maintenance as per checklist stated.
  • General building and facility utility.
  • Maintain, record and update record to prepare ISO report.
  • Mechanical & electrical works related in factory premises.
  • Verified job done by machine contractor after repairing.
  • Be able and willing to work in non-ideal environments such as: confined spaces, working at heights, dusty/dirty and around chemicals.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed.

Job Responsibilities

1. Machine Repair/Breakdown:

  • Repair or replace defective parts as needed, utilizing hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
  • Troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment to identify the root cause of the problem and implement effective repairs.
  • Oversee and maintain all the technical aspects of factory general facilities and utilities and production equipment, such as Auto Lines and Manual Lines machinery and equipment, spray paint section, repairs and upgrades.

2. Technical Support & Maintenance

  • Take care of air compressor room machine.
  • Verify & Check refrigerated air dryer. Dew point, proper operation condensate drain systems & condenser cleanliness.
  • Upkeep equipment and machineries in optimum and systematic constantly, to minimize unplanned downtime, anticipate and solve problems in a timely manner, and to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Performs preventative maintenance per defined interval/schedule in a timely manner, documents maintenance concerns and providing action plans and status reports as needed.
  • Recognizes and corrects potential equipment failure or unsafe conditions and communicates this to Maintenance Manager.
  • Responsible for comprehensive maintenance stock control and inventory management of maintenance materials.

3. Others:

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including work orders, parts inventory, and equipment manuals.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
  • Plumbing, Welding, mechanical & electrical works for factory and office.
  • Any ad hoc task arranged by management.

Job Requirements

  • Possess at least a Professional Certificate (SKM) or Diploma in an Engineering-related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience in the field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Solid mechanical knowledge and ability to work independently.
  • Welding and plumbing skills are an added advantage.
