QA/QC Executive
Job Summary
As a QA/QC Inspector Executive in a precast concrete factory, your primary responsibility is to ensure that all products meet quality and compliance standards before delivery. This includes performing pre-pour inspections to verify the accuracy of molds, reinforcement setups, and other specifications, as well as conducting post-pour checks to identify defects and confirm proper curing and finishing. You would also be responsible for conducting various concrete tests, maintaining detailed quality control records, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety protocols. A key aspect of the role is performing pre-delivery checks to address any non-conformances and ensure that products are ready for shipment. Additionally, this role involves identifying opportunities for quality improvement and implementing corrective actions to enhance processes. Strong attention to detail, technical knowledge, and the ability to interpret drawings are crucial for success in this role.
Job Responsibilities
Pre-Pour Inspections: Ensuring molds, forms, and reinforcement setups meet specifications before concrete pouring.
Post-Pour Inspections: Checking cast products for defects, proper curing, and adherence to quality standards.
Testing and Documentation: Conducting tests on concrete properties and maintaining detailed records of inspections and results.
Pre-Delivery Checks: Verifying that finished products meet all quality standards and addressing any non-conformances before shipment.
Compliance and Safety: Ensuring adherence to industry standards (e.g., ASTM, PCI) and safety protocols.
Continuous Improvement: Identifying areas for quality enhancement and implementing corrective actions.
Job Requirements
Education: A diploma or degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
Experience: Previous experience in quality control or inspection within the precast concrete or construction industry, often ranging from 1 to 2 years.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in concrete testing methods, knowledge of industry standards (e.g., MS EN, ASTM), and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills to interact with team members and management.
Computer Skills: Familiarity with Microsoft Office and other software used for documentation and reporting
