Senior Executive, Finance & Accounts

Job Summary

Effectively manage financial accounts, ensuring smooth delivery of products or services, and addressing any issues or concerns.

Job Responsibilities

  • To comply with client and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • To undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the superior.
  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly closing and yearly closing of accounts.
  • Able to handle full set of accounts and all financial reporting activities.
  • Prepare financial analysis to ensure timely delivery of high quality and accurate financial data.
  • Ensure financial and management reports and completed and submitted according to the schedule, determined by the management.
  • Overall, in charge and manage the day-to-day operations of the Finance Department.
  • Prepare inter-company reconciliation, bank reconciliation and monthly schedule (fixed assets listing, prepayment, accruals listing & etc).
  • Review workflows processes and identify areas needed for improvement / implement the enhancement to be more efficient with accuracy and effectiveness.
  • Manage, monitor, and control the finance status closing procedure, including preparation of statutory accounts and relevant disclosure and co-ordination of overall process.
  • To plan, execute and monitor all related matters on cash flow management and payment arrangement in timely.
  • Liaise with external parties (auditor, tax agent, company secretary and bankers).
  • Ensure that all management and statutory reporting submission are done on a timely and accurate basis.
  • Any other ad-hoc tasks as required from time to time.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, or relevant field.
  • Solid experience with Microsoft Office (intermediate or advanced MS Excel).
  • Excellent communication and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude.
